Five Don't For Eczema

First, don’t scratch. The main symptoms of dermatitis and eczema is itching, and scratching continuously will stimulated the skin to feel more itch, and it leads to more thicken and rough skin in sick areas, also scratch the skin will lead to infection.

Second, don't use soap to wash. Dermatitis and eczema patients fear all kinds of skin stimulation, soap, especially strong alkaline soap on the skin is a kind of chemical stimulation, will make the eczema worse. So the patients would be better use less soap as possible. And the soap only can be used in the condition that eczema is under control and using no stimulation, spices excluded soaps, or the kind for bathing babies, but these soft soaps also can't used freely.

Third, don't use hot water to scald it. Some patients feel so itching and painful then scalding with hot water which result to skin telangiectasia, more redness and heavier swelling, increased lesion area in sick skin area. Therefore, those who suffer from dermatitis and eczema should not to use too hot water, and also can not run the sick skin.

Fourth, don't eat irritant food. Such as wine, strong tea, pepper, coffee and so on. Some people eat fish, shrimp and other foods will make the eczema worse, so need to avoid eating these.

Fifth, don't use the medicine by abuse. Dermatitis and eczema treatment period is long, easy to recur and difficult to cure thoroughly. Patients are often eager to seek indiscriminate use of drugs, drug abuse which make the sickness more difficult to heal.
